| 'Gerry Strawfield' (the literal English translation of Gerrit Rietveld) was a fictional person that created the Gerrit Rietveld Academie schoolparties. Gerry took on different personalities which were about clichées in the art world and in general social life. The posters' design fits to the thematic kitch of the upcoming party.
